We all know how important it is to maintain a decent level of fitness, in combination with eating a balanced diet, in order to be considered healthy. Some people are lucky enough to have fitness and the need to remain active as part of their career.

Personal Trainers

As a personal trainer, your body really forms a large proportion of your brand. If you have not managed to keep yourself in shape and looking healthy, your potential clients will wonder what you are going to be able to do for them. Although, in reality, you do not have to have the perfect body to be fit and healthy, many people are looking for someone who can sell their services to them and will judge you, whether that be fairly or unfairly. You will be able to maintain a certain of level of fitness simply by running alongside a client, or demonstrating certain machines in a gym, but you will still need to do extra on top of that.

You know, of course, that injuries are inevitable when you’re constantly working out, so keep your first aid kit ready. Using kinesiology tapes may help prevent muscle pains or strings from being pulled.

Fitness Instructors

Akin to personal trainers, fitness instructors are also judged on their appearances. However, leading a class can be a lot more exhausting than 1:1 or group training. In fact, classes, which are most often cardio-based, can be very intense and tiring. Instructing as well as demonstrating the moves can be a challenge and limits the number of classes an instructor can do in one day.

Solider

Being part of the armed forces, it is imperative to have a certain level of fitness in order to pass stringent tests. Furthermore, if you were to be engaged in conflict and needed to be quick, knowing that your fitness is up to scratch will certainly increase your chances of staying alive. Fitness coupled with excellent clothing and equipment, such as a top-quality plate carrier vest, will serve you well in the army, or indeed the sections of the military too.

Fire Fighters

Similar to being a soldier, strength and speed are integral parts of being a successful firefighter. Medicals and fitness tests must be passed to ensure you are able to carry out a good job. Knowing that you are responsible for saving lives, it is vital to maintain a good level of fitness in order to stand a better chance of success.

Police Officers

Although not every day involved a chase, and many occur when you are in a car, being able to run after a suspect is certainly an important thing. Likewise, if a suspect attempts to escape from your hold, having the strength to prevent that from happening, while not causing any damage, is vital.

Dog Walker

Although this example may not be one that you would immediately think of, it is important that dog walkers have a certain level of fitness. After all, you are not going to be able to walk dogs efficiently if you are unable to go a certain distance yourself. Furthermore, with larger dogs, being strong is an important thing to ensure they, and other people and dogs, are safe.
