Hey Jennifer – Well, you definitely made me smile with this comment. It’s nice that people are associating me with a vegetable that I, for some reason chose to build my blog and brand off of.

Oh, and someone asked me last week which recruiters they should follow. Out of the 2 or 3 names I said, @CincyRecruiter was on that short list.

At the #socialrecruiting summit this past Monday, Amybeth Hale/@researchgoddess was showing some pictures of people she considers to have strong personal brands and asking the audience to shout out who they were. She showed a picture of me (@CincyRecruiter) standing next to a big smiley-faced corn on the cob from our stop this past summer at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. Several people in the audience immediately shouted out – “Corn on the Job”! (Ummm… NOT CincyRecruiter.)

I think the proper name is Corn Pone. At least that’s what they would say where I’m from.
