I believe twitter is a great tool for anyone. Try it out, and I suggest you start by following those who you have a great interest in. I have a friend who deeply enjoys the culinary arts. He spends a great deal of time watching cooking shows, so naturally he follows bobby flay, and other famous chefs. I'm a music fan so my favorite Twitter musician to follow is John Mayer.
