If you don’t want to be stuck in an office for the rest of your life, there are other career options that you may want to consider. Perhaps you would prefer a job that involves more physical labor that keeps you active through the day. Or, maybe you would rather have a job that doesn’t tie you down to one location for long periods. Alternatively, you may just want a job that keeps you free to work when you want to, how you want to. There are job possibilities that cater to all these possibilities and we’ve got all the info on them that you need.

If you want a job involving manual labor, and you don’t have many qualifications, working in a factory could be the career you are suited for. The advantages are that you’ll get to work with a lot of heavy and dangerous machinery. However, it’s not an easy job, and you’ll be working your fingers to the bone a lot of the days you’re on the job. As well as this, you may find it has less manual labor involved than you envisioned. Modern factories are becoming more automated meaning workers just need to click a button.

Freelance Engineer

Alternatively, you could become a freelance engineer. With this job, you won’t have to travel to factory every day. Instead, you could be working anywhere. You might be on a construction site one day and at an office building the next. It all depends on where your services are required and why they are needed. You’ll still get to work with cool equipment. In fact, there are welding machines for sale at IOC and from other businesses. Since you can buy all the equipment that you need, there’s no need to work for anyone but yourself.

Farmer

Again, farming is more automated than it used to be. For instance, if you’re milking cows you’re not going to be milking them by hand. Instead, you’re going to be conditioning them to milk themselves by walking into a machine. The same can be said for other parts of the farming business. That said, you’ll still be out in the open for long periods throughout the day. If you live in a comfortable climate, this might be a brilliant benefit for this type of work. On the other hand, living in an area where it’s hot and humid working on the land might grow tiresome.

Sports Instructor

If you have a skill in a certain sport, you could become an instructor. We know what they say, those who can’t do, teach. However, this isn’t entirely true. Usually, if you teach, you’ve honed your skills enough to pass it onto other people. It doesn’t mean that you haven’t achieved greatness at this particular activity. As well as this, it’s a great way to earn a living on a job that you’ll love. The question is, do you have a skill in mind? Or, could you learn a new sport, excel in it and use it to make a living for the rest of your life?
